Utah State Fair!

Brandon and I had the experience of going to the Utah State Fair for the first time this year. It was so fun. Jared and Kristee invited us to go and I am so glad that they did! When we first got there, I was starving! So we headed straight for the food. I was so overwhelmed by it all... I felt like Templeton on Charlotte's Web! I wanted to taste it all! I couldn't remember the song that he sang... but I wished so badly that I could have started singing it! It goes a little something like... "A fair is a veritable smorgasbord..." Remember that song?! I need to watch that show again so I can learn that song for next years Fair.
Brandon and I finally settled on trying the Navajo Tacos. Here Brandon is standing in the ridiculous line!
It was pretty crowded but we were able to squeeze ourselves onto a table to eat....
And then of course we went and checked out the animals. The animals loved Brandon...Look how surprised Brandon is to see the cows...
Our adorable niece, Kenzie, was loving it all! She was running around the whole time. I was barely able to catch this picture of her!

Brandon wanted me to act like I was kissing the pig, but honestly this was as close as I could get without throwing up... they are so gross. This pig was freaking out, they are viscous!
Great view of the Fair! Brandon and I are posing with Kenzie like she is our own:)... we wish that she was!
And the highlight of my night... Deep Fried Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich! My face may look like I am disgusted by it but Brandon just took forever to take the picture so my mouth was salivating as I was trying to hold this pose :) The sandwich was delicious!
This is me again enjoying my extremely unhealthily sandwich while everyone else tried to watch the Tiger show that was going on... you can see Jared in the back holding Kenzie up so she could see the show. I am not quite sure what that other random guy is trying to do but apparently we caught him trying to catch an itch!
We ended our fun night by watching the Rodeo. It brought me back to my Morgan days!

Have you seen anything cuter than this?!.....
Now you have... :) Just kidding.
Thanks again Jared and Kristee for inviting us to go to the Fair with you! We had so much fun. We are for sure going back next year and I am going to run around singing the song from Charlotte's Web! :)

Its Ute time again...

Brandon once again dragged me out to a Ute football game :) Brandon had a great time watching the game and I kept myself entertained by people watching and talking with our friends. We really did have a good time and I like going to the games, even if I'm not a hard core Ute fan.

We tried to get a picture with Kate and Derek but Derek apparently didn't make the picture, you can barely see his red hat behind Kate. Sorry Derek. However, Brandon's brother, Justin, was ready for the picture! He is the one smiling right above Brandon's head.

Our good friends Adam and John. I don't know what Adam is thinking in this picture, but I am loving this face. And John... well he just looks good in those shades and he seems to know it.

Eldredge Reunion

Last Saturday my cousins put together a Eldredge reunion. It was so fun to get together with all my extended family. We used to get together all of the time but as we have gotten older our traditions have faded. So a new tradition has started and we will have reunions each year to bring us together. The activities included the boys playing a little basketball while the girls talked and the kids played with various toys in the yard. Brandon was not aware there would be basketball so he didn't wear the right shows. He played for a little bit in his flip flops but eventually ended up just taking them off and playing in his bare feet. I of course didn't get a picture of him running around bare foot. Dang it. Anyway he is paying for it now. He has huge blood blisters on the bottom of his feet. I hope it was worth it...
Look at Brandon in the back, looking down at his feet all sad....

And here we are. Wendy, me, Aimei and Carlee. We had a great time talking and actually it was Aimee that inspired me to do all of my posts. She ripped me apart for my blogging skills so I decided to step it up a notch...Thanks Aimei!

The Ranch

A handful of us, including Brandon, me, Adam, Kenzie and Bill (Brandon's Dad) went to Kamas last Friday night. Brandon's Aunt and Uncle own a ranch up there and Brandon wanted to show me the place and have some outdoorsy experiences. So here we are shooting guns with Kenzie and Adam. Then we ventured out on the four wheelers. I was pretty excited for the four wheeling, it has been years since I have gone! Bill is amazing at the grill and he cooked us up some tasty bratz for dinner. We had a great time!
Very steady...

Adam and Kenzie.. looking good as always
We do this all the time....
After we took the picture above, Brandon realized that there was a large amount of dirt on my face.... and some of it happen to line up with my eyebrows, creating a uni brow. I think it looks pretty good. :)

Rollerblading

Last Sunday evening Brandon and I decided to bust out the rollerblades and head to the park. It has been years since I have been out on these wheels. I was a little nervous about it cause I haven't mastered how to stop yet. However, Brandon is a rock star on the blades. He helped me get around and we had a great time.
This is quite the action shot of me... You can tell by this shot that he is amazing...

Ben and Debs Wedding

Ben and Debs got married on Aug. 16th. We are so happy for them! This worked out really well for Brandon and I cause Ben and Brandon have been friends for the last 3 years and Debs and I became great friends during our internship in Hawaii. They were able to meet during the time Brandon and I dated. We love them both and are going to miss them... as they start their new lives together in Arizona.
How awkward is this pose?!... love you Debs!

Mission Reunion!

Becky has been posting things all night so I thought that I would help her out on this one. After the long day at Raging Waters we headed to Orem for a mission reunion. My second Mission President returned home last month...President and Sister Trask. It was great to see their smiling faces again and hear about their wonderful accomplishments. While at the reunion we also ran into some old friends...what do you think of their suits? Made in the Philippines.. :)
